Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections, diagnoses and repairs compactors, containers, and carts.
• Performs moderately complex welding processes (arc, gas, aluminum, brazing, plastic welding, soft soldering).
• Documents repairs and parts usage in fleet maintenance software.
• Conducts safety checks on equipment.
• Performs service calls for compactor repairs and emergency breakdowns.
• Assists in layout, fixtures, and welding process selection.
• Mentors lower level maintenance personnel.
