Job summary
Mohave County is seeking a Welder Senior to join the Equipment Maintenance/Fleet Services Division in Kingman, AZ. The role focuses on fabricating, repairing and inspecting heavy equipment and vehicles to OEM standards, using gas, arc, MIG, and TIG welding techniques.
The position operates Monday through Friday, with opportunities for growth, a comprehensive benefits package and required CDL within six months. Candidates must pass a drug screen and meet training requirements.
Qualifications
- > High School diploma or GED required.
- > Post‑high school technical training in automotive or related field.
- > Some apprenticeship or shop experience preferred.
- > Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Responsibilities
- Repairs, fabricates and modifies parts for heavy vehicles and equipment.
- Reads blueprints/diagrams and uses welding techniques to complete tasks.
- Maintains tools and records; supports safety and quality standards.
- Collaborates with team and may supervise others as needed.
