Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Manufacturing Welder/Fabricator in our Liverpool, NY office to join a skilled fabrication team. You will fabricate custom products, read blueprints, and operate multiple welding and fabrication machines while ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of welding experience, proficiency in MIG/TIG/STICK, and 6G certification. Travel for equipment installation may be required; strong commitment to reliability and high-quality work is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of welding/fabricating experience.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
• - Experience with Oxy-Fuel/Plasma cutting on structural steel and pipe.
• - Pipe fitting and welding to B31.3 (6G certification).
• Ability to read fabrication blueprints & drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Willing to travel for equipment installation and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Plan daily/weekly workload with supervisors based on production schedule.
• Read and interpret fabrication blueprints and drawings.
• Fabricate components to drawings accurately and timely.
• Operate fabrication machinery (saws, shears, presses, drills, mag drills).
• Inspect work to ensure quality control standards.
• Safely handle/move materials using cranes, forklifts, rigging equipment.
• Mark up drawings to document changes.
• Maintain PPE and follow OSHA safety policies.
• Train younger talent; maintain clean work area.
• Perform additional shop or field tasks to meet deadlines.
