Job summary

John Zink is seeking capable welders for our Tulsa manufacturing operation. This Welder III role offers experienced welders the opportunity to tackle complex fabrication, solve welding challenges, and influence quality and process improvements in a safe, air-conditioned environment.

Candidates with strong fundamentals and the ability to pass a pre-employment weld test are encouraged to apply. The role involves welding process burners and related equipment, with teamwork across production,

Qualifications

• Welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Ability to perform welds in accordance with procedures and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on process burners, boiler burners, and fabricated equipment.
• Complete welding assignments per approved welding procedures and quality requirements.
• Interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Verify weld quality and support inspection requirements.
• Collaborate with production, quality, design, and engineering teams to meet objectives.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and value creation.
• Share welding expertise and mentor team members.
