Job summary

Taco, Inc. in Fall River, MA, is seeking a Senior Welder B to perform routine welding on nozzles and fittings for tanks and heat exchanger shells, using FCAW and GMAW.

You will read drawings, follow Welding Procedure Specifications, and fit components with fixtures in flat and horizontal positions. This on-site, first-shift role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of welding experience, and the ability to navigate the company ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass ASME Section IX welding test with FCAW, GMAW, SAW and related materials.
• 2+ years welding experience using drawings and equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and access the ERP system.
• Ability to perform repetitive work, stand, lift, and meet production deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Works from drawings, specifications and WPS; follows instructions.
• Operates various welding equipment and hand/tools as needed.
• Performs FCAW/GMAW welding on tanks and heat exchangers in flat/horizontal positions.
• Reads Welding Procedure Specifications and adheres to all parameters.
• Monitors quality, reports issues, and maintains records in ERP.
