Job summary

American StaffCorp seeks a Senior Welder for the 2nd shift (5:30pm to 5:30am). Candidates will weld using MIG, TIG, Flux-Cored, Submerged Arc, and Stick processes and must be qualified in at least three. A minimum of 3 years of related welding experience is required, along with blueprint reading and NDE readiness.

Responsibilities include welding brackets, pipes, and structural components, with emphasis on precision and adherence to specifications. Forklift operation may be required when trained.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of related welding experience.
• Must be able to pass required welding qualification tests.
• Must be able to pass NDE requirements.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.
• Experience with multiple welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding with MIG, TIG, Flux-Cored, Submerged Arc, and Stick processes.
• Weld on brackets, braces, pipes, flanges, and structural components.
• Position workpieces using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools.
• Work to code materials and specifications with minimal supervision.
• Produce high-quality welds meeting inspection requirements with minimal rework.
• Operate cutting torches, grinders, and automated welding equipment as required.
• Complete welding qualification tests and NDE requirements.
• Occasional forklift operation with proper training.
