Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of welding experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
• Proficient in welding techniques, fluxes, rods, and weld shrinkage management.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and welding symbols.
• Knowledge of metal properties, machining, and welding safety standards.
• Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Welding certification preferred or required.

Mansioni

• Weld various metals using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
• Check and prepare pipe or structural pieces for welding, accounting for shrinkage.
• Repair castings, gouges, leaks, and other components.
• Operate welding and gas equipment safely, including acetylene and electrical setups.
• Assist pipe fitters with pipe installation, preparation, and fabrication.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and welding symbols.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with government and company standards.
• Perform minor equipment repairs and maintain welding tools and gas equipment.
