Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee all warehouse operations at our Cheyenne facility. You will supervise Operations Supervisors, analyze flow of inventory, forecast volumes, and adjust resources to meet store demand while driving KPI targets.

You will lead a team through change, promote safety, mentor staff, and communicate objectives and daily workload plans to team and senior leadership in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field plus 3 years of experience in distribution center operations or related area OR 7 years of experience in distribution center/warehouse operations or related area with increasing responsibilities
• Leadership experience with direct report responsibility, including leading salary level direct reports
• Experience mentoring and coaching others
• Experience leading a team through change
• Proven record of complying with safety requirements, and experience building a culture of safety among subordinates and peers
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee all of Operations, or the flow of product through the building
• Supervise a team of Operations Supervisors
• Analyze and forecast production volume and reevaluate resources to meet store demand
• Lead the team to achieve or exceed KPI targets despite fluctuating demands
• Resolve complex operational issues escalated from the team
• Communicate business objectives and daily workload plans to team and senior leadership
