Job summary

Binance is seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to design, develop, and optimize large-scale backend services within its Web3 security domain. You will work with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate security requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will contribute to data collection and processing pipelines, implement new services, and help advance threat detection capabilities while collaborating with global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend development in blockchain/Web3/security.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale backend systems in high-concurrency environments.
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with distributed caching, MQs (Kafka).
• Big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, HBase, Elasticsearch, Airflow.
• Fluent in English (good-to-have).

Responsibilities

• Participate in architecture design, development, and optimization of backend systems in Binance's Web3 security domain.
• Maintain, migrate, and upgrade backend and security service systems to improve stability and service quality.
• Design and implement new services translating business and security requirements into actionable plans.
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Improve security systems, automated tools, and threat detection capabilities.
• Work with analysts on data collection, cleaning, modeling, and analysis for security use cases.
• Design and implement backend and big data workflows for security scenarios.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across global teams.
