Bank of America is seeking a Network Security Engineer to support multiple security initiatives, design, implement, and report on enterprise security capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable networking solutions across the global footprint.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of hands-on experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, TLS and encryption understanding, and hands-on proxy experience with SkyHigh Web Gateway.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience.
• Strong end-to-end network flow experience.
• Understand how traffic gets in and out of the company network.
• Extensive knowledge of DNS, DHCP, Firewalls.
• Load balancing, IPS, routing/switching; TCP/IP and packet analysis.
• Understanding of TLS and data in transit encryption/decryption.
• Hands-on experience with proxies (SkyHigh Web Gateway).
• Experience with web proxy controls for content filtering.
• Senior expertise in at least one of: Load balancers, NSX Defender, FireEye Lastline, VMware cloud security.

Responsabilidades

• Lead identification, definition, and documentation of network security requirements.
• Drive development and execution of test plans with quantitative results.
• Outline measurement marks for policy, administration, use cases.
• Design, engineer, implement, and support security systems meeting standards.
• Drive complex security projects to ensure on-time delivery.
• Identify and raise risks or vulnerabilities at all stages of security engineering.
• Assist team with resolving technical complexities to meet requirements.
• Manage major engineering milestones from requirements to runbooks.
