Location: Fully Remote – Eastern Time strongly preferred; Central Time also considered

Contract Duration: Initial 4-month contract, with anticipated extensions throughout 2027

Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to support critical project deadlines as needed

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven Senior Web Project Manager to oversee the successful execution and delivery of multiple concurrent web and digital initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. This is a highly visible, hands-on project management role requiring exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, prioritization, and execution skills. The ideal candidate has a strong background managing client-facing or B2B web projects and a demonstrated ability to drive complex initiatives forward while balancing competing priorities, tight deadlines, and evolving business requirements. This individual will serve as a central point of coordination across Web, Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, Content, UX/UI, SEO, Compliance, Legal, and external partners, ensuring projects progress efficiently from initial intake through development, quality assurance, and successful launch. We are specifically seeking a strong project management professional who can confidently manage challenging stakeholder relationships, negotiate timelines and competing priorities, maintain accountability, and consistently deliver against established SLAs and project launch commitments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently, navigating ambiguity, managing multiple simultaneous workstreams, and taking ownership of project outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Web Project Management

• Own and manage multiple concurrent web and digital projects from initial intake and requirements gathering through design, development, QA, staging, and production launch.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource assignments.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple project workstreams while ensuring deliverables remain aligned with business objectives and established timelines.
• Track project performance against agreed-upon SLAs, milestones, and launch deadlines, proactively addressing risks that could impact delivery.
• Drive projects to completion through strong organization, follow-through, and accountability.

Stakeholder Management & Negotiation

• Serve as the primary project management point of contact for cross-functional stakeholders, internal business partners, and external agencies.
• Build productive relationships with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
• Lead discussions to negotiate project scope, timelines, resources, priorities, and deliverables.
• Effectively manage conflicting stakeholder expectations, competing business needs, and shifting priorities.
• Confidently facilitate difficult conversations, challenge unrealistic timelines when necessary, and drive alignment around achievable project commitments.
• Hold stakeholders and project contributors accountable for deliverables, decisions, approvals, and deadlines.
• Provide clear, proactive communication regarding project status, risks, dependencies, and next steps.

Cross-Functional Execution & Delivery

• Coordinate project activities across Web, Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, Content, UX/UI, SEO, Legal, Compliance, and external development partners.
• Facilitate project intake and requirements discussions to establish clear expectations, scope, ownership, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee design and content reviews, development handoffs, QA activities, staging, approvals, and publishing workflows.
• Ensure project contributors have the information, assets, and approvals required to execute effectively.
• Identify dependencies and potential bottlenecks early, developing actionable solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Drive timely issue resolution and elevate critical blockers appropriately.
• Ensure projects meet quality expectations, established service-level agreements, and committed launch dates.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Bring structure, organization, and accountability to complex projects involving multiple teams and evolving requirements.
• Establish and maintain clear project documentation, status reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to web production and project management workflows.
• Support the refinement and standardization of project intake, prioritization, execution, and delivery processes.
• Adapt quickly to changing business needs and operate effectively in environments where processes may not be fully defined.
• Explore opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to improve project management efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience managing web production, website development, or digital project initiatives, preferably within technology, SaaS, fintech, or similar environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing client-facing or B2B web projects, including direct stakeholder engagement and ownership of project delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with proven success navigating competing priorities, resolving conflicts, influencing decisions, and securing alignment across multiple teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and workstreams, including complex dependencies, competing deadlines, and shifting business requirements.
• Demonstrated success delivering projects on time while meeting established SLAs, milestones, and launch commitments.
• Experience independently owning the complete web project lifecycle, from initial requirements and planning through development, QA, approvals, and publishing.
• Strong understanding of website production workflows, content management systems, digital design processes, and cross-functional development handoffs.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including Marketing, Product, Design, Engineering, Content, UX/UI, SEO, Legal, and Compliance.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, proactively identify risks, establish clear priorities, and drive execution without requiring constant direction.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain accountability, effectively manage challenging stakeholder relationships, and keep projects moving under tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to support time-sensitive deliverables and critical launches when additional coordination is necessary.

Experience with the following tools and platforms is strongly preferred:

• Content Management Systems: Webflow and/or WordPress
• Project Management: Jira and Asana
• Analytics & Optimization: Google Analytics / GA4

Candidates should possess sufficient technical familiarity with web production processes and platforms to effectively coordinate with designers, developers, content teams, and external partners. This is primarily a project management and delivery leadership position rather than a hands-on web development role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing complex B2B, client-facing, or enterprise web initiatives.

• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, automation, and workflow optimization.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check.

As a contractor, you will be paid for the time you work; this does not include paid time off (PTO) or holidays. If you participate in our Payroll Services (W2) engagement, you may be eligible for Paid Sick Leave (PSL), depending on your work location and state-specific regulations.

Compensation:

The anticipated pay range for this opportunity is $80-90.00/hr The range represents a good-faith estimate of the compensation reasonably expected to be offered for this opportunity at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, engagement structure, and applicable work location within the range provided.
