Job summary

Impact Connects in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Press Machine Operator II/Web Pressman II to operate and support web printing presses with limited supervision. This role performs press setups, makeready, and production runs while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.

The Level II Pressman will mentor Level 1 staff, monitor print quality, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and finishing teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED. Demonstrated experience as a Web Pressman Level 1 or equivalent.
• Ability to read job tickets, specifications, and quality standards.
• Experience with color control systems and registration tools.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate assigned sections of web presses during production runs.
• Perform press setup, makeready, and changeovers according to job specifications.
• Load and thread paper webs, adjust tension, registration, and ink flow.
• Monitor press performance and make routine adjustments to maintain print quality.
• Troubleshoot common press issues and elevate complex problems as needed.
• Ensure printed product meets customer and internal quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pressroom environment.
• Support and guide Web Pressman Level 1 employees during shifts.
• Assist with on‑the‑job training and skill development.
