Job summary

Impact Connects is seeking a Press Machine Operator/Web Pressman I to support the offset printing team on the first shift. This entry-level role focuses on learning press fundamentals, assisting in setup and operation, and maintaining quality under supervision.

You will monitor ink and substrate flow, perform basic adjustments, and participate in on‑the‑job training to progress toward independent operation while adhering to safety policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior press operators with setup, makeready, and press operation.
• Load paper rolls and help thread webs through the press.
• Monitor ink, water, and paper flow during production runs.
• Perform basic press adjustments as directed.
• Assist with press changeovers and cleanup.
• Inspect printed product for basic quality issues (registration, color, defects).
