Job summary

Geotab is seeking a Team Lead, Software Development to guide the Marketing web presence and related platforms. You will shape the technical direction, set coding standards and ensure accessible, high‑performing experiences across campaigns and content.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Content, Design, Product, Analytics and other engineering teams, while coaching engineers and balancing speed with long‑term value.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in software development, including significant experience delivering production web applications.
• Two or more years of experience leading, coaching or mentoring software developers, or equivalent technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience building and operating responsive, accessible and high‑performance websites and web applications.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C#/.NET, SQL, Git and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day‑to‑day technical direction and delivery of the Marketing web development team.
• Coach, mentor and develop software developers through feedback, technical guidance and career support.
• Own the planning and delivery of marketing websites, landing pages, campaign experiences, content platforms, integrations and related web products.
• Establish standards for architecture, code quality, accessibility, performance, responsive design, security, SEO and maintainability.
• Lead technical discovery, estimation and solution design while making pragmatic decisions under changing priorities.
