Job summary

Geotab seeks a Team Lead, Software Development to guide the Marketing web presence and related platforms. You will set priorities, mentor developers, and oversee delivery of websites, landing pages and campaign experiences with emphasis on accessibility, performance and security.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Content, Design, Product, Analytics and Engineering teams to balance speed and quality, lead technical discovery, and establish CI/CD and observability best practices.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of software development experience, including production web apps.
• Two+ years in technical leadership coaching or mentoring.
• Experience building accessible, responsive, high-performance websites.
• Proficiency with HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C#/.NET, SQL, Git and CI/CD.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment (preferably GCP) and Docker.
• Experience with CMS, design systems, analytics, SEO, and privacy considerations.
• Degree in CS/SWE/Web Dev or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, planning and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Marketing web development team's technical direction and delivery.
• Coach and develop software developers and oversee project planning.
• Deliver websites, landing pages, campaign experiences, and related web products.
• Set architecture and coding standards for performance, accessibility, security, and maintainability.
• Guide technical discovery, estimation, and design with evolving priorities.
• Establish practices including code review, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and incident response.
• Leverage analytics and stakeholder feedback to drive improvements.
