Job summary

Johnson Health Tech Companies is seeking a Web Engineer to design and develop a wide range of web tools and applications under the Web R&D director. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements, and improve product life cycles across existing and new products.

The role requires advocating best practices, coding standards, and strong ownership in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of four-year degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field; OR equivalent experience.
5+ years of development experience.
3 years of Node.js, Python or PHP professional development.
4+ years of relational database systems.
4+ years of NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
4+ years of RESTful API consumption and development.

Responsibilities

Develop websites and applications using modern web development stacks.
Implement scalable applications that meet business requirements and can be distributed globally.
Lead in technical design of new sites and applications.
Define and enforce code standards and review other developers' code.
Be a self-managing, full participant in cross-functional agile teams and meet deadlines.
Support junior developers in code development skills as needed.
Embrace new technologies and follow best practices.
