Trustees of Deerfield Academy seeks a Software Developer to design, build, and enhance web applications and data interfaces that support business processes across administrative departments. You will collaborate with ITS and cross-functional teams to promote modern development practices, automation, and secure, scalable solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in web application and database design/development.
• Experience with Azure services (Functions, Data Factory, Fabric or Power Platform) preferred.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and code deployment best practices required.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and building data pipelines from SaaS platforms required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the assessment, technical design, and delivery of high-impact software solutions for departmental challenges.
• Develop and deliver web applications, modules, and data interfaces; use server-side languages and databases.
• Foster consistent coding standards across the team and participate in code reviews.
• Design and test interfaces to support data flows between software solutions and automate manual processes.
• Create documentation and procedures for web services and processes.
• Collaborate with ITS and cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable enterprise solutions.
• Work with system and network admins to maintain and troubleshoot web applications.
• Evaluate vendor products for cost, security, and integration with existing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
