Job summary

Deerfield Academy is seeking a Software Developer to design, build, and support web applications, databases, and system integrations across administrative departments. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Enterprise Applications and Analytics, you will promote modern development practices—code reviews, version control, and change management—to deliver robust, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• 5-7 years of progressive professional experience in web application and database design/development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Functions, ADF, Fabric, or Power Platform.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and code deployment best practices.
• Experience consuming REST APIs and building data pipelines from SaaS platforms.
• Experience with modern SDLC methodologies, including code review standards, version control (Git), CI/CD, and change management.
• Experience integrating web applications with enterprise data sources and third-party APIs.
• Academic environment experience preferred.

• Develop and deliver web applications, modules, and data interfaces.
