Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer in Greenwood Village, CO to lead design, development and sustainment of wearable consumer electronics.

You will handle PCB layout, component substitutions, and RF/WiFi/Bluetooth considerations, while collaborating with hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure product reliability. The role emphasizes hands-on schematics, testing, verification, and comprehensive documentation, with a focus on continuous improvement and lifecycle

Qualifications

Experience with wearable consumer electronics or compact, high-reliability devices.
Proven ability to design and verify digital/analog circuits and PCB layouts.
Strong problem-solving skills and documentation of test procedures and reports.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and sustainment of wearable electronics.
Replace obsolete components to maintain product continuity and compliance.
Drive root-cause investigations and corrective actions for issues.
Collaborate with hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing teams to resolve challenges.
Develop electrical verification and validation test plans to meet specs.
Analyze test data and optimize designs for reliability and manufacturability.
Create and maintain documentation including test procedures and specs.
Support sustaining engineering with schematic updates and alternative components.
Contribute to R&D in digital/analog circuit design for wireless products.
Use lab instruments to validate designs and troubleshoot issues.
