Job summary

Textron Systems is seeking a Program Manager in Utah to own critical program scope within Weapon Systems. The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and communication to ensure on-time, cost-effective execution.

You will interface with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, and mentor junior PMs. The position emphasizes hands-on management, security clearance readiness, and collaboration across engineering, contracts, finance, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of relevant experience including 2+ years in Program Management.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial, technical, and schedule requirements for critical program scope.
• Develop and present briefs to internal and external leaders; lead dry runs.
• Apply Earned Value techniques to monitor performance baseline.
• Maintain CAM responsibilities: budget baseline, cost reviews and variance analysis.
• Manage IMS critical paths and drive on-time completion.
• Identify and manage Risks & Opportunities; communicate with suppliers and Textron teams.
• Collaborate with customer Program Manager(s) and report progress.
• Lead proposal generation and submittals to customers.
• Mentor and develop junior Project Managers.
