Job summary

Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC seeks an experienced sales consultant to drive wealth management product growth across the Pacific West. You will partner with advisors, field leaders and internal partners to expand awareness, adoption and sales of wealth management solutions.

You will influence business outcomes through relationship management, market insight and thought leadership. The role offers opportunities to travel for advisory events and client engagement.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in the financial services sales industry with wealth management product knowledge.
• Proven track record in consultative sales that influences outcomes and drives growth.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Series 7 license required upon hire.
• Active State securities agent registration (S63 or S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days; Active State IAR registration (S65 or S66) or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory sales results by building relationships with new and existing advisors through meetings, events and programs.
• Apply a consultative sales approach to influence product selection aligned with client and business needs.
• Collaborate with sales, field leadership, marketing and other stakeholders to execute territory plans and growth objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes, communicating insights that shape positioning and strategy.
• Travel within the territory to engage advisors, deliver training and represent the organization at events.
