Job summary

JPMorgan Chase, through J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, seeks an Executive Director, Wealth Planner to translate complex tax and trust & estate concepts into clear, client-friendly guidance. You’ll work with advisors and leadership to craft holistic planning strategies across wealth scenarios and investment platforms.

You will lead content development, collaborate with field management, and stay current on federal and state tax laws while driving opportunities and maintaining client trust.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree and either J.D, LLB, CPA or CFP.
• 7+ years of practice as a trusts & estates lawyer, tax advisor, or financial planner.
• Knowledge of securities-based compensation, pre-liquidity planning, and concentrated position management.
• Comfortable with clients across wealth spectrum and experience with tax and wealth transfer strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present content across wealth management topics with leadership.
• Serve as a resource on complex tax and trust & estate planning and pre-liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with field leadership to integrate estate and tax concepts into goals-based advice.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws.
• Promote knowledge to outside centers of influence and develop client opportunities.
• Provide unbiased, customized wealth planning advice to clients and prospects.
• Travel to local and out-of-state branches as needed.
