Job summary

Northern Trust in the Tampa area seeks a skilled professional to coordinate complex fiduciary, investment and estate accounts. You will manage service requests, document handling, and client communications, partnering with Trust Advisors and support teams to ensure accurate, timely processing of events and fee setups.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of trust-related services, with a degree and relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• In-depth functional knowledge of personal trust, estate, guardian and advisory services.
• Experience in financial servicing or related credentials preferred.
• Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Peoplesoft) is required.
• A college degree and relevant proven work experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates account administration for fiduciary, investment management, estate settlement, guardianship, and custody accounts.
• Develops knowledge of governing documents and account agreements.
• Receives service requests from clients and partners; facilitates service changes or transactions.
• Coordinates resolution of client issues; informs clients of steps to resolve requests.
• Oversees action plans for client servicing events and ensures execution and follow-up.
• Engages Client Support Services on account opening/closing, cash movement, and fee setups.
• Assists Trust Advisors and related roles in account acceptance, compliance management, and annual reviews.
• Develops knowledge of business applications critical to relationship management including client online tools.
• Supports business development and client presentations.
