Job summary

J.P. Morgan's International Wealth Advisory within the Private Bank seeks an experienced advisor to guide ultra-high-net-worth clients through tax, estate planning, and cross-border structuring. You will collaborate with trust officers and external partners to tailor sophisticated wealth strategies.

Travel with bankers, build client relationships, and contribute to business development as part of an integrated banking team. Mandarin/Cantonese knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree holder or above with professional qualification in law, tax or accounting.
• 10+ years of experience in taxation, estate planning, trusts and transactional work.
• Cross-border planning experience, offshore structures.
• Expertise in local laws on taxation, trusts, foreign investment, and inheritance.
• General working knowledge of trust and company administration matters.
• Excellent interpersonal and client relationship-building/marketing skills.
• Ability to work well with internal colleagues and manage own caseload.
• Able to manage large/complex structuring projects.
• Professional in approach.
• Mandarin/Cantonese knowledge; private client relationship management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the value proposition by guiding clients on tax, estate planning, immigration, asset protection, governance and philanthropy.
• Identify client needs and address them via trusts, foundations, private funds and other tools.
• Coordinate with internal partners and external professionals including law firms and government agencies.
• Travel with Bankers to meet clients and prospects.
• Support business development as part of an integrated banking team.
