Job summary

J.P. Morgan International Private Bank is seeking a highly experienced Private Banker in the San Francisco area to advise families on building, preserving and managing wealth.

You will work with investments, wealth planning, credit and banking, while serving offshore clients and collaborating with a broad institutional platform. Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience prospecting, acquiring and developing private banking/wealth management relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals and families.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Series 7 and 66 licenses required; unlicensed candidates may be considered but must obtain licenses within 90 days of start date.
• Available to travel internationally to serve offshore international clients.
• Strong community presence with an established network.
• Experience or understanding of investments, wealth planning, credit and banking concepts.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering an exceptional client experience
• Generate business results and acquire new assets, both from existing client base and new client acquisition
• Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, credit and banking needs
• Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients when needed
• Connect your clients across all lines of business of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
• Ensure that proposed solutions fulfill clients' needs and objectives in the short, medium and long term through a holistic goals based planning approach
• Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines and security measures
