Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Workers Compensation Claims Team Lead to supervise multiple examiners and staff across jurisdictions, with hybrid work options. The role emphasizes leadership, claims adjudication, and collaboration to deliver client-focused solutions.

The ideal candidate has significant claims experience, supervisor background, and jurisdiction knowledge for CO and UT, with home-state licensing and growth opportunities within a global, service-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Two (2) years claims supervisor experience preferred.
• Seasoned examiner experience of five (5) years - lost time & medical only experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyses and processes complex or technically difficult general liability claims by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure; develops action plans for timely resolution.
• Manages the litigation process; ensures timely and cost-effective claims resolution.
• Coordinates vendor referrals for additional investigation and/or litigation management.
• Leads team meetings and assigns accountability for follow-up items.
• Gathers information to present at team meetings; supports interview process and workload reviews.
