Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Team Lead for Workers Compensation with jurisdiction and licensing requirements focused on NV. The role supervises multiple examiner teams, provides technical direction, and ensures quality adjudication of claims in a remote-friendly, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Experience: Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent; two (2) years claims supervisor experience.
• Licensing/Jurisdiction Knowledge: NV REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for a wide span of control.
• Identifies trends and advises management with recommended actions; coordinates with management projects.
• Provides technical/jurisdictional direction to examiner reports on claims adjudication.
• Performs quality review on claims in compliance with audit requirements and quality standards.
• Acts as second level of appeal for client and claimant issues; implements final disposition of the appeal.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims; monitors litigated/special claims as needed.
• Maintains client contact and promotes a professional client relationship; provides resumes of claims as requested.
• Ensures reports are properly licensed in jurisdictions serviced; ensures proper coding and documentation.
• Supports the organization’s quality programs.
