Job summary

Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company is seeking a Senior Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster for a hybrid role based in Arizona. You will investigate and adjust mid-to-high complexity claims, collaborate with agents and policyholders, and work with counsel on litigated matters.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of workers’ compensation indemnity claims experience, with familiarity in coverage analysis, reserving and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education.
• 3 years of experience handling workers’ compensation indemnity claims of medium level of complexity/severity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to support investigations with data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with agents, policyholders and internal stakeholders on a mid-to-high complexity workers’ compensation claims.
• Investigate losses, determine coverage, assess damages, review documents and pleadings.
• Establish reserves and engage external resources to resolve claims within guidelines.
• Assist counsel with management of litigated claims and communicate coverage issues.
