Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Senior Analyst for Workers' Compensation at the Home Office in Richmond, VA. You will oversee the WC program, manage claims with TPAs, and support associates across stores, regional offices, and Home Office teams.

The role offers mentoring opportunities and reports to the Senior Manager of Risk Management. You will partner with Legal, HR, and Asset Protection to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with WC regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of WC claim management or similar experience.
• Proven experience partnering across teams in a dynamic environment to get results.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated analysis and decision-making skills.
• Specific knowledge and experience with medical and WC terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WC program by coordinating third-party administrators (TPAs) and monitoring performance.
• Serve as primary CarMax point of contact for TPAs and audit claims for quality.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal WC regulations and CarMax policies.
• Improve WC processes and guidance; implement best practices in claim management.
• Provide TPAs with case information and support for settlements and resolutions.
• Support internal teams and provide timely information to associates on medical care and transitions.
