Job summary

CarMax in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Analyst, Workers’ Compensation to oversee the WC program for the Home Office and stores nationwide. You will mentor team members, coordinate with TPAs, and ensure compliant claim handling across all WC cases.

This role is based at the CarMax Home Office in Richmond and requires onsite work four days per week. The salary ranges from $77,000 to $115,500 per year, with potential bonus and equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of WC claim management or similar experience.
• Proven experience partnering across teams in a dynamic environment to get results.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated analysis and decision‑making skills.
• Specific knowledge and experience with medical and WC terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee WC program and manage TPAs, serving as primary CarMax contact.
• Audit claims to ensure TPAs deliver quality support.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal WC regulations and CarMax policies.
• Continuously improve WC processes and policy documents and guidance.
• Provide case information to TPAs and counsel; review settlements and reports.
