Argo Group seeks a Senior Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster for a temporary assignment ending Oct 9, 2026. Remote or in-office role handling high-complexity indemnity claims for SC and VA.

Requires five years' experience, a Bachelor's degree, SC license at start, and strong negotiation and communication skills. Overtime may be required; benefits are government-mandated for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience adjudicating workers' compensation claims in the SC and VA jurisdictions.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required. Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience adjudicating indemnity claims beyond the minimum experience may substitute.
• SC license required at start of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate highly complex indemnity workers' compensation claims under limited direction.
• Investigate claims promptly and thoroughly, interviewing involved parties.
• Analyze forms, endorsements, and client instructions to determine policy coverage.
• Prepare reports for file documentation and case outcome.
• Negotiate settlements and manage claims in litigation.
• Record hours and submit timesheets; overtime may be required.
• Coordinate with experts to support case resolution.
