Job summary

GeneralCoatingsCorporation in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Waterproofing Estimator to lead the preconstruction process for high-profile commercial waterproofing projects across Southern California. You will drive detailed takeoffs, cost analyses, and bid development while mentoring junior estimators.

The role requires a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of winning profitable work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of waterproofing estimating experience in commercial construction.
• Proven success estimating large-scale waterproofing, below-grade waterproofing, deck coating, and building envelope projects.
• Strong understanding of drawings, specs, contracts, and project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating and bid preparation process for commercial waterproofing projects of varying size and complexity.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analyses from plans and bid documents.
• Develop accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates aligned with company objectives.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering during preconstruction.
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• • 7+yearsofwaterproofingestimatingexperienceinthecommercialconstructionindustry
  • Provensuccessestimatinglarge-scalewaterproofing,below-gradewaterproofing,trafficcoating,deckcoating,airbarrier,sealant,andbuildingenvelopeprojects
  • Strongunderstandingofconstructiondrawings,specifications,contracts,andprojectdeliverymethods
  • Advancedknowledgeofestimatingsoftware,takeoffplatforms,andMicrosoftOfficeSuite
  • Demonstratedabilitytomanagemultiplebidsanddeadlinessimultaneously
  • Exceptionalnegotiation,communication,andorganizationalskills
  • Strongfinancialacumenandunderstandingofjobcostingprinciples
  • Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingtoacollaborativeteamenvironment
