Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers' Special Projects Division in Long Beach, CA seeks a seasoned Structural Engineer to advance waterfront, heavy civil and marine projects. You’ll apply advanced structural design skills, lead project tasks, mentor teammates, and deliver exceptional client service across diverse port developments and shipyard work.

With 8+ years of experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and SE licensure, you’ll collaborate across disciplines, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure

Qualifications

Minimum of 8 years of structural design experience.
SE licensure is required; steel, concrete and timber design experience advantageous.
Strong knowledge of ASCE/ACI/AISC/IBC standards and port-related design.

Responsibilities

Lead structural design and development for waterfront and port projects.
Manage project tasks, timelines, budgets, and resources.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure client satisfaction.
