KPFF is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer (0-3 years) in Tacoma, WA for the Special Projects Group. You will engage in structural design across ports, marinas, and waterfront facilities, developing skills in design and project management within a supportive team.

Qualifying candidates hold a civil engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.) with coursework in concrete, steel, and timber, plus strong teamwork and communication skills. Hybrid work environment offered, with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Master’s degree in civil engineering (structural focused).
• Willingness to work on a variety of projects.
• Concrete, steel, and timber coursework.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Structural Design and Development: apply engineering knowledge to diverse projects.
• Collaborate with teams to devise innovative solutions for ports, harbors, marinas, and ferry terminals.
• Enhance problem solving using traditional and modern engineering techniques.
