SAWS is seeking a Senior Utility Technician in San Antonio, TX, to perform a range of manual and skilled tasks for water distribution and wastewater systems. The role requires a valid Texas Class A CDL and involves operating heavy equipment, trenching, and maintaining tools and vehicles.

• Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Position-specific physical testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and skilled labor for repair, construction, and maintenance of water and wastewater systems.
• Operate dump trucks and crew trucks; use heavy equipment as assigned.
• Excavate and backfill trenches; transport equipment, tools, and materials to sites.
• Inspect and maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles; ensure safety procedures.
• Assist with setting up work zones, barricades, and traffic control as needed.
• Follow all workplace safety rules and report unsafe conditions.
