Job summary

Blooming Glen Contractors, Inc. Water & Wastewater Services Division, a partner of H&K Group, Inc., seeks a full-time Service Technician to manage water/wastewater service, troubleshoot equipment, and oversee installations across DE, MD, and VA. Safety-focused, team-driven, with a strong mechanical/electrical background will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on service experience in water/wastewater.
• Comfortable around wastewater environments.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Efficient, accurate, and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in repairing and maintaining water/wastewater equipment at pump stations and treatment facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on pumps, motors, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with plant operators and mentor junior technicians.
• Complete service reports and daily logs; ensure OSHA safety compliance.
• Operate company vehicle with crane across tri-state region; maintain DOT card.
• Participate in on-call rotations for emergencies.
