Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to advance planning, design and construction administration of water facilities projects in Ohio. You will lead project staff, manage client relations, and deliver projects from early planning through construction.

You will coordinate design work, prepare technical reports, and mentor engineers, closely collaborating with HDR’s Ohio team to grow the Water Business Group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years related experience.
• 2+ years project management experience.
• Licensed professional engineer in Ohio or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage small to medium single-discipline projects and large multi-disciplinary projects.
• Coordinate engineers and balance planning/design teams through project lifecycle.
• Establish client relations and participate in meetings.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies.
• Lead design development and contract document preparation.
• Coordinate workload to meet schedule and budget.
• Track financials and adjust effort as needed.
• Lead client meetings and workshops, mentoring engineers.
