ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager (Water and Wastewater) in Parsippany, NJ. This hybrid role offers leadership of multi-disciplinary teams on municipal and utility projects, including design, permitting, and funding coordination.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of water/wastewater consulting experience, a NJ PE license or eligibility, and strong client relationship skills. Competitive compensation and benefits accompany hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of water and wastewater experience in a consulting environment.
• Ownership of scope, schedule and budget on projects.
• Experience coordinating with NJDEP and regulatory processes.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and write fee proposals.
• Hands-on design authorship including drawings and specifications.
• Ability to mentor engineers and junior staff.

Responsabilités

• Own full lifecycle project management for water and wastewater projects from planning through construction.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; develop proposals and negotiate scope.
• Direct the design team producing drawings, specs, basis of design reports and contract documents.
• Coordinate with NJDEP regulators (Treatment Works Approvals, NJPDES permits, planning).
• Maintain and grow client relationships with municipal and authority clients.
• Coordinate funding with NJ Infrastructure Bank, NJ Water Bank and SRF programs.
• Mentor project engineers and junior staff.
