Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background in industrial water and/or wastewater projects to lead planning and design efforts for water, water reuse, and wastewater initiatives. The role includes client interaction, project leadership, and supporting business development across the U.S.

The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days in the office from any Industrial office location in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
• 10 years of related experience in project management
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required
• Equivalent additional directly related experience accepted in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Managing and serving as the lead Project Manager on water/wastewater projects
• Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff
• Overseeing scope, schedule, and budget development and adherence
• Conducting QA/QC of key deliverables and assisting on projects
• Assisting Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients
• Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry
• Building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers at clients
