Job summary

You will oversee diverse teams, coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations while complying with all codes.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer
• 10+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects
• Experience designing water treatment plants is a plus
• Project or client management experience required
• Ability to guide junior staff and participate in multi-discipline design
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication and time management
• Detail-oriented team player with initiative

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects
• Oversee project teams and coordinate engineers, consultants, contractors, and regulators
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and scopes to align with client goals and standards
• Review technical designs and documentation for quality and compliance
• Lead feasibility studies and infrastructure planning efforts
• Evaluate treatment technologies and design approaches with experts
• Develop contracts, procurement, and administration activities
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders for updates and issue resolution
• Ensure adherence to regulations and coordinate permitting
• Prepare and review technical reports, cost estimates, and risk assessments
• Conduct cost-benefit and life-cycle analyses to support investments
• Collaborate with business development on proposals and client presentations
