Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager in Folsom, CA. The role focuses on leading design and construction of water and wastewater infrastructure from planning through construction, with CA PE or CA registration within 1 year.

This permanent, on-site position offers a competitive salary and strong project leadership opportunities. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with GIS, AutoCAD, Civil3D, and a track record in client-facing project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field with focus in water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering.
• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 year.
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as lead design engineer or PM.
• Strong leadership experience or potential, including management of project delivery priorities and mentoring.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D.
• Experience with levee design efforts is preferred.
• Stormwater system design and master planning experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct design/technical development of water/wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction.

• Prepare construction documents, plans, specs, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Provide supervision and technical direction to design engineers and staff.

Job Details

What You'll Do:

• Lead and direct design/technical development of infrastructure projects within the areas of water/wastewater, stormwater, including supply, storage, collection and distribution, treatment, and pumping/conveyance systems from the planning and design phases through construction completion
• Delivery of projects to meet established budgets and delivery schedules to the performance expectations of the client
• Prepare construction documents, including plans and specifications
• Prepare project cost estimates and schedules
• Provide overall supervision and technical direction and expertise to a team of design engineers and technical staff
• Coordinate multi-disciplined engineering teams
• Support or lead the preparation and development of proposals and strategic client pursuits
• Serve as a primary client-facing leader, strengthen relationships, understand client objectives, and identify opportunities
• Attend meetings with municipal officials, other engineers, developers, permitting agencies, and contractors
• Actively participate in relevant professional organizations

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related engineering field with a focus in water resources, environmental, or hydraulic engineering
• PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr
• 10+ years of experience in water/wastewater, stormwater planning, design, and construction administration as a lead design engineer or project manager
• Strong team leadership experience or proven potential, including managing project delivery expectations, prioritization of tasks, and mentoring
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
• Experience with levee design efforts, including evaluation, analysis, and preparation of engineering design documents is preferred
• Stormwater system design projects, including drainage infrastructure, and comprehensive stormwater master planning are preferred
