Job summary

MWH Constructors seeks a qualified Project Manager to lead critical water, wastewater and advanced water treatment plant projects for municipal and industrial clients in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area. Projects vary in size and delivery method, from CM at Risk to Design‑Build, with budgets ranging into the hundreds of millions.

Essential duties include planning, staffing, and coordinating across departments, controlling schedule and budget, and liaising with clients, prime AE contacts,

Qualifications

• 4 year engineering/construction management degree or equivalent experience and training/education.
• Minimum of 7–10 years of construction design, finance and management experience; knowledge on heavy civil or industrial construction projects.
• 3–5 years of experience on water or wastewater plant projects.
• Able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
• Understand corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, and their impact on project activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and staff key field positions or subordinate project managers.
• Coordinate staffing with US Operations and other Area department heads.
• Manage financial aspects of contracts, fee, payment, rental equipment, income/expenses to protect company and maintain client relations.
• Procurement of subcontractors and materials through Purchase Agreements and Subcontracts.
• Support Change Management, Cost Estimating, revenue, cost forecasting and scheduling.
