Job summary

Apex Companies LLC seeks a highly motivated Sr. Project Engineer - PE to lead civil design projects for water and wastewater systems. You will guide design teams, develop client relationships, and ensure quality outcomes on a portfolio of public and private projects.

Located in Oklahoma, you will mentor staff, contribute to business development, and participate in proposals and presentations while upholding safety and standards across projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting engineering experience in water and wastewater projects.
• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering and Oklahoma P.E.
• Understanding of civil design standards and environmental constraints.
• Proven ability to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Strong client relationship development.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer small decentralized public water systems and wastewater systems.
• Provide leadership in the design of efficient and constructable civil projects.
• Estimate and budget labor hours for design projects; review job costing reports and take corrective action, as necessary.
• Establish and maintain client relationships; ensure client objectives are met.
• Mentor young design professionals.
• Participate in business development opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
• Hire and manage subcontractors.
• Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
