Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead water and wastewater projects across our Industrial Business unit. You will be the main client-facing contact for planning and design, guiding scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring engineering staff.

This hybrid role requires two in-office days per week and can be based at various US offices. Travel, client development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration are expected nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 10 years of related experience are required.
• Certification: PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency varies by duties and workload.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage as the primary Project Manager on water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentorship to staff.
• Own scope, schedule, and budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects.
• Perform QA/QC of key deliverables and assist on projects led by others.
• Support Client Service Leaders with technical marketing for clients across the U.S.
• Engage in professional societies relevant to the industry and build client relationships.
