Job summary

Talisman Advisory Partners seeks an experienced Project Technical Leader/Manager for water and wastewater infrastructure in New Mexico. You will lead project delivery, provide technical oversight, mentor staff, and ensure schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements are met.

You will review designs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, conduct site assessments, and engage clients. A PE license and 10+ years of relevant experience are expected, with strong CAD skills and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related discipline; equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or in-hand.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience in water, wastewater, or infrastructure engineering and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, regulatory compliance, and quality control.
• Proficiency with CAD tools, including 3D/4D capabilities.
• Understanding of scheduling, budgeting, coordination, and client management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project scope, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Review engineering designs for treatment facilities, water and sewer systems, pipelines, and pumping stations.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and establish effective technical approaches.
• Conduct site assessments and technical studies for project requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure deliverables comply with regulations and quality procedures.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of designs and reports.
• Assist with proposals and client solutions development.
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to technical presentations, publications, and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor junior staff and support team development.
