Job summary

Talisman Advisory Partners seeks an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects. This role suits a civil engineer who can manage projects, communicate with clients and contractors, and coordinate design through construction.

The ideal candidate is organized, technically capable, and comfortable working across office and project-site environments while managing schedules, budgets, permitting, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, utility, water, wastewater, or infrastructure projects.
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or applicable professional engineering registration.
• Experience with water or wastewater facility design is preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and project management skills.
• Ability to work with clients, contractors, design teams, and regulatory agencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and project scheduling tools.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple water, wastewater, and utility infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, contracts, and project documentation.
• Coordinate design activities and provide guidance to CAD and technical personnel.
• Support permitting activities and coordinate submissions with applicable agencies.
• Conduct construction observations, site visits, and field inspections.
• Prepare field reports, technical documents, project summaries, correspondence, and other deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and support timely resolution.
• Coordinate construction activities with owners, contractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
• Balance field and office responsibilities while maintaining project quality and deadlines.
