Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Project Engineer in Lone Tree, CO to lead municipal and industrial water/wastewater projects, mentor junior staff, and strengthen client relationships. You will oversee design, reports, permits, and budgets while collaborating with project managers and technical experts.

Ideal candidates hold a civil engineering degree with PE licensure preferred and have 10+ years of municipal civil engineering experience, travel readiness, and a commitment to building

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required or strongly preferred for senior responsibilities.
• Professional Engineer licensure ideal or ability to obtain within 3 months is sought.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, evaluation, and design of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and oversee reports, specifications, cost estimates, permits, and construction plans.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and support cross-disciplinary teams.
