Job summary
Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers and Architects in Kansas City seeks a registered civil or environmental engineer with 12+ years in consulting to serve as Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager, directing technical delivery, client relations, and personnel for municipal water and wastewater design.
The role leads a growing water/wastewater team, collaborates across offices, and drives project success from concept through construction, with opportunities to mentor junior staff and advance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering (ABET-accredited).
- Minimum of 12 years in municipal water infrastructure design.
- Active licensure in KS or MO; other Midwest licensure a plus.
- Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D for design production.
- Experience with WaterCAD or SewerCAD is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical direction and supervision to engineers, designers, and staff.
- Oversee design of water systems (storage tanks, boosters, distribution, wells, treatment).
- Oversee wastewater systems (collection, lift stations, force mains, treatment).
- Oversee effluent reuse design (tertiary filtration, storage, disinfection).
- Lead marketing and business development for the water/wastewater team.
