Job summary

Mott MacDonald’s Boston office seeks a Principal Project Manager with deep experience in water/wastewater projects to develop, execute, and manage infrastructure programs. You will lead complex projects, mentor staff, and engage with public and private clients to drive successful outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of municipal water expertise, PE licensure in Massachusetts, and a track-record of profitable program delivery, with strong leadership and strategic business development

Qualifications

B.S. degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
Professional Engineer license in MA, or ability to obtain by comity within six months.
15+ years in planning, design, and delivery of water, wastewater, stormwater, and CIP programs.
Experience managing large municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the lifecycle.
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and lead multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Manage wastewater, stormwater, and water utilities planning, design, and construction projects.
Serve as senior client representative and maintain long-term client relationships.
Lead large water/wastewater and CIP programs from planning to closeout.
Lead project teams and coordinate multiple assignments.
Review project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and performance.
