Job summary

Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer based in Shallotte, NC. This direct hire role will be aligned with the growing industrial project demand in the Wilmington, NC and surrounding areas.

You will join a firm with a strong water/wastewater backlog and have the opportunity to lead projects, develop your own team, and work closely with municipal clients. The position offers relocation assistance for highly qualified candidates and a hybrid work schedule after 90

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 15+ years of municipal water/wastewater design experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering projects and/or personnel.
• Proven business development and client relationship experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm’s water/wastewater efforts in the region.
• Build relationships with municipal clients and move projects forward.
• Set an example, be respected, and communicate effectively.
